Hosting & server log files
This website runs on a self-managed server. When you visit it, technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) is processed in server log files (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files serve operation and security and are deleted after a short time.
Analytics (Swetrix, self-hosted)
For anonymous usage statistics we use Swetrix, a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics solution. No cookies are set and no personal profiles are created; IP addresses are truncated. We also count anonymously which buttons and links are used and whether a message was sent through the contact form, and we record technical error messages from the browser in order to fix errors. The contents of the form are not transmitted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact form & bot protection (Swetrix CAPTCHA, self-hosted)
If you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, message) is processed to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). It is not passed on to third parties and is deleted once your request has been dealt with.
To protect against spam, the form uses Swetrix CAPTCHA, which we run on our own server, like the analytics. Your browser solves a small computing task in the background; no cookies are set and no data is passed on to third parties. To detect automated requests, our server briefly processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address; IP addresses are not stored in the statistics. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Alternatively, you can reach us directly by email.
No third-party tracking
This website uses no advertising trackers, no social media plugins and no external font CDNs. All fonts are served from our own server.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. A short message to the email address above is all it takes.
